the kindle really is a wonderful item. I love it. firstly, I love reading. I’m belgian and my native language is french, but reading in english is so better. I read a lot more in english than in french. and when I saw the kindle on amazone.com for the 1 st time I wanted it. I have it for 2 weeks or something like that. I have only 2 things to say against it. I can’t read in the dark, and my battery life is only a few days. not like a month.but it can do so many things. I like having it and I try always to keep it with me outside so when I’ve got to wait 5 minutes I take it and read. I have french and english books on it and so when I’m bored with a book or when I don’t want to read in french or in english, I take another book and another language. so many books in so little space and so light. and all the options on it are great. I can write the translation of a word which I always see and so it’s easier to understand. by that way I learn more and quicker. I can also use wikipedia wherever I go. so great. it’s wonderful for everyone who like reading. and the screen is great. so different than a pc screen. I never feel any pain with my eyes. I think that’s all I had to say. great!

I mix some of this with Newman’s dry food twice a day. I like that they had the glucosamine to it.

I’ve been following the kindle forum for a while, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Kindle 3. Good news! It appeared to rave reviews and I ordered one at $139 to be sent to France. I let myself be tempted by a lighted leather cover as well, price $59.99, grand order total…. $281.77. No, nothing wrong with the math, just that the total for non-US residents includes $22.03 shipping plus $97.11 import fees deposit. Gulp. But OK, there was no alternative and I desperately wanted my Kindle…Fortunately (as it turns out) the Kindle wasn’t immediately available, so Amazon said they’d ship it separately specifying that I wouldn’t have to pay two shipping fees. Then a message was sent infoming me that the leather cover had been shipped. Did I read the message carefully? No. How silly am I? Very. It is only today, with delivery of the cover that I find out exactly how much this little jewel has cost me. The delivery man demanded 11 euros, I then rechecked the message from Amazon carefully only to find that I had already paid….$86.29 import fees deposit! So the red leather cover alone has cost me a total of $159.76 plus 11 euros instead of the $59 paid by customers in the US, and more expensive than the coveted Kindle 3 itself! As I had just got a message from Amazon UK saying that Kindle 3 was now available in the UK I immediately cancelled the order with Amazon.com US, fearing that the original price tag of $139 would shoot up to goodness knows how much.
Meanwhile anyone wanting to buy a priceless red leather cover with reading light (currently locked in the safe) please get in touch. By the way, I was obliged to give a star rating, so opted for one because of the price, but the cover itself is indeed lovely and under other circustances would have had maximum stars. So – the moral of the message – international buyers please check exactly how much your Kindle products are going to cost you in the end before committing to any purchases. Great carpet cleaner. I went with this model after MUCH research b/c my parents bought the same one about 10 years ago and have NEVER had an issue with theirs. After borrowing theirs for 4 years, I decided that it was time to buy my own.Sometimes the vac doesn’t suck- but that is b/c I don’t always have the canister locked into place. With an infant and 2 large dogs…this was a great purchase and it does a wonderful job!
Virgin Machine
I bought this book because I saw it on Martha Stewart’s show and wanted to use it for craft time with my niece and nephew. It was simple enough for them to do it on their own and get a little bit of sewing skill.
Happy Gloves Charming Softy
This cleaner is very easy to use and works well – It is a little heavy to move around but only when full of water (and if the tanks were smaller you’d have to keep refilling – so better to be heavy than have to refill every few mins. and I guess you could fill it half way if it was a big deal). The biggests downside is the brushes underneath. They are round spinners and the are are turned by one of the brushes so I’m waiting for that to break and the rotating brushes to stop working. Best part about the machine is the suction – it has a strong suction and leaves the carpet fairly dry.
Hard Shell Carrying Case
This sports bra replaced one I had had for several years. To say it’s an improvement would be an understatement! This bra is comfortable, easy to put on and take off (and for those of us who have had to struggle with getting in and out of sports bras, this is a definite plus!!), and does its job in the support area. Washes well too!
