I bought the first Kindle when it came out and it was a great idea. When the NEW KINDLE came out I was also excited. I wanted the larger one but it had no international access so I settled on the smaller one — If Amazon had been good enough to tell me that in just a few months the larger one WOULD HAVE international access I would have waited and been LESS disappointed; BUT I would still have been disappointed.
So first of all, I feel a bit abused by Amazon and I have been a loyal customer from the very beginning. Back when people said, you must be crazy buying things on line.
The NEW KINDLE is not so different from the old Kindle. The best part is the “experimental” part which gives some access to the internet. But it is so primitive, I feel like someone has tied my arms behind my back and said to go ahead and enjoy the internet.
When I saw the I-PAD from APPLE — and it is not perfect either — at least not yet — I realized it was everything I wanted in the Kindle including FULL internet access and COLOR and LARGER SCREENS.
So my friends, listen to me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A KINDLE until they get it right some time in the future. WAIT for the Apple I-Pad and get what you really wanted all along.
So sorry Amazon and JEFF, ceo, you both broke my heart and lost my trust.
