The good and the bad. Well we got this bike for our 2 1/4 year old daughter. It wound up being too big for her but I’m sure when she’s older that she’ll enjoy it. Installation was very easy, took less than 30 minutes.

Unfortunately the front tire tube was defective on delivery and would deflate minutes after inflation. We called Schwinn and asked for a replacement front part of the bicycle (it comes with the front of the bike assembled in the box) and they sent us just a bicycle tube. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of changing the tire tube on a brand new bike so I called again and they sent the entire front tire. I finally just bit the bullet and removed the old tire and replaced Tony Hawk Homer Boys 20-Inch BMX with the new one and it’s working fine now. Just have to wait till my daughter is big enough for it.

A Real Classic Ride. WOW! This Schwinn is the perfect ride for any youngster, ready to take to the road! Our son, 2, really LOVES this bike. We were initially looking for a big wheel, which we discovered was a bit hard for him to maneuver, when the big front wheel was turned he couldn’t reach the peddles, and he is exceptionally tall for his age. This bike is the perfect mix of a low rider tricycle and a big wheel… surprisingly the seat even moves back to grow with the child! Not to mention the sweet wooden tailgate to tote his brother/friends around on! If only it were made in the USA.

This little Schwinn is a beauty!. Recently purchased the Schwinn Roadster for our grandson’s 2nd birthday (coming up in a few weeks). We read some great reviews when doing our “homework,” but we were not expecting such a gorgeous, well-made tricycle. From its air-filled tires to its shiny red steel frame and chrome fenders, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The wheels turn easily & the bucket seat gives a lot of support. It has a non-tip design, which many people cited in their reviews. Easy to put together (Grandma did it!), and sturdy, sturdy, sturdy. And that retro bell & streamers add just the right touch! Can’t wait to see our little guy’s face!
