The product seems to be good. We live in an area where the AT&T wireless service is inadequate. We had to drive 25 miles to get to an AT&T wireless service area.
Before purchase, be sure you are in an AT&T wireless service area.

I purchased this scale because it measured in “.2″ increments instead of “.5″. This would allow me to see even the smallest progress while I progressed towards the bigger goal of 1/2 to 1 pound lost in weigt. I LOVE this scale and it appears to be very precise when I compare it to my other scales that I own. It is extremely easy to use. Buy it, put the included batteries in, step on it, and record your weight!
I also bought the EatSmart Food Scale at the same time and I LOVE that product as well! Best food scale I’ve ever owned!

When I first contemplated buying a GPS unit, I was not happy to read that the units mounted on a suction cup device that attached to an automobile’s windshield. I have had experiences in the past with suction cups on glass, and these experiences were always less than satisfactory. I was even more dismayed when I asked friends with a GPS unit about their suction cup mounting experience. Consequently, I ended up searching the Internet for an alternative mounting solution, and that’s when I stumbled upon the Portable Friction Mount. After reading through dozens and dozens of user and a few professional reviews, I ordered the Portable Friction Mount at the same time that I ordered my Garmin Nuvi 1390T. The mount is wonderful!
The Friction Mount was easier to assemble than it was to cut open its packaging. And, adjusting the GPS unit in the Mount is similar to adjusting your car’s rear view mirror. During the past 5 weeks that I have been using it under normal driving conditions, it has not moved one iota from its position on my Honda dashboard. I am very impressed with its gripping ability. At the same time, the size of the Mount has not interfered at all with my field of vision when I’ve been driving. And further, as other reviewers have pointed out, the Mount allows you to easily remove your GPS equipment out of sight, if theft is a concern. I take my GPS unit with me, and I stow the Mount in the trunk of my car.
All of this said, however, I do have one reservation about this Mount. That is, if an individual was in (heaven forbid) a car accident, could the Mount become a dangerous missile during impact, or since it is weighted, would it tumble harmlessly onto the car’s center console and/or the floor? I haven’t been able to find an answer.
Nevertheless, at this point, I am very satisfied with this Portable Friction Mount, and I have recommended it to several friends who have GPS units and are unhappy with their suction cup mounts.
