I bought this to use with my Garmin Nuvi. I drive a Ford Expedition. It has a big flat dashboard. This bean bag (portable friction mount) works perfectly! When not in use, I grab it and set it down on the console out of sight. When I need it again, I set it back up on the dash board. It stays where you put it even in a panic stop. It does NOT move at all. While it is just a bit bulky, it seems to be the right size/weight/design to do the job intended without any flaws. What more could you ask for?

This is much better than the windshield attachment. Doesn’t block view or leave tell-tale marks that a Garmin is in my locked car.
