This is not a vampire book. It is a teenage romance novel where the object of Bella’s obsession just happens to be an unconventional vampire. (Snark Alert! If Bella had more life experience, she would know Edward’s behavior is much more frightening than his vampirism.)
Meyers does a really excellent job of capturing the thrill of smoldering glances, flirting, first kisses, first love. Will this story stand the test of time? I have no idea, but I think it probably will. Edward can’t hold a candle to Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights) for creepiness, and women have been crazy about him for centuries.

I just returned from multiple travel destinations where I was able to fully experience this case. I have a Gateway P-FX7811 which is a beast, 17″ screen and very heavy, but the features I wanted in a laptop. I used to have a Dell 17″ and was using that nice leather carrying case, but my FX7811 barely fit in it and dell case was getting so old, needed a new one. All the 17″ cases I’ve seen and tried in stores have just been too small for my laptop, as it appears slightly larger than the normal 17″.
In this case my laptop fits extremely comfortably and is well protected. On the other side of the case I have more than enough room for business papers, my Senheiser 280 Pro Headset, Sony 9″ DvD player, DvD Case, wires, cables, business cards, the works. All this is extremely LIGHT compared to my prior Dell case, probably because it was leather and heavy to start with.
Moving through security in airports used to be a pain in the neck. It’s not so much easier as I don’t have to remove my laptop, just my dvd player.
The case is durable, very well built, looks great and delivers on every level a laptop case can be expected to. Very well done Targus.

I hope everyone can find that for themselves. This book can be the way for many.

This item is very useful because it allows us to quickly swap the Garmin Nuvi GPS from one car to the other. It is especially good that it can be placed on the dash where it can be seen without blocking either the instruments or view of traffic. Also, it can be easily moved to the right side for help with navigation by a passenger. It clings well. A window mount is not as practical because it places a GPS too far away, and also prevents use of a sun screen when the vehicle is parked.

Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer is an enjoyable fantasy book that I would recommend to kids of all ages. The story opens in the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City. Artemis Fowl and his servant, Butler, are meeting a man who has promised to introduce them to a fairy. After meeting a weak fairy who has been drained of magic by rice wine, they trick her into sharing her secret fairy book with them in exchange for saving her life. The book, which contains all the rules and secrets of the world’s fairies, is photographed by Artemis and e-mailed to his server for safe keeping. Meanwhile, Captain Holly Short, a LEPrecon (Lower Elements Policeman) enters a pod in the fairy city near the center of the earth that will shoot her out of a vent to fight a troll who has escaped to the earth’s surface. Little does she know that soon after that she will be kidnapped by Artemis Fowl!
Artemis Fowl is a character with a plan. He is a driven, wealthy twelve year old who wants to steal fairy gold. In the beginning of the book he is described as an extremely pale young man who seems to have no friends except his servant, Butler. He is a bright, tech genius who is not in school because his mother is loosing her mind. My favorite part of the book was reading about how he is training himself to become a criminal mastermind. Right before he meets with Commander Root to negotiate for Fowl’s fairy hostage, he prepares for the interaction by concentrating on how he will act. “Artemis put on his best sinister face. Evil, he told himself, evil but highly intelligent. And determined, don’t forget determined. He put a hand on the doorknob. Steady now. Deep breaths, and try not to think about the possibility that you have misjudged this situation and you are about to be shot dead.” (Colfer 213)
The underground fairy world in Artemis Fowl is an incredibly imaginative creation. Although we are told a limited amount about the underground city, we are thrown into a fantastic description of Captain
