I have been very impressed with the Amazon Kindle so far – battery life is good, the screen is excellent and it is very light and thin. From an ergonomic viewpoint, I wish that the Next and Previous and Next/Home buttons were reversed – so the next was on top as that is where my thumb rests most comfortably whilst reading.
I ordered from the USA site to be delivered to Japan and although it took a number of days for them to dispatch the product, once it left the warehouse it was to my door in 2 days!
As an international user, I have to be pretty disappointed with the $2 dollar markup; especially noticable when the books are discounted to $5 as it makes up a large portion of the cost!
The best thing is that once over the first week of excitement, you can forget you are reading on some fancy new tech, and just enjoy reading!
I just received this bathroom scale. So far, it has been simple to set up (except the lack of batteries, which are supposed to be included!) and very easy to use. It’s an attractive scale that you don’t have to hide. As far as I can tell, it’s extremely accurate and the display to so easy to read! I will update the review in a few months after I see how well it holds up over time. For now, it gets 3 stars because I haven’t been able to test it out for long enough and it didn’t come with the 4 AAA batteries.
