Much, much, much better than slicker brushes. I can’t even describe how much better it is. Highly recommend it.

The good news is these are the best bathroom scales I’ve ever had. The bad news is these are the best bathroom scales I’ve ever had :) Seriously, no stepping on and off, wiggling around or stepping on different areas until you get the number you want anymore. You get the same number every time. I’ve even tried bribing them . . . wouldn’t budge.

It baffles me to no end that anyone would give this book a five star rating or that it is considered a literary classic with a “powerful” theme. Not only is it intellectually barren, but is horribly written. Tedious and repetetive, it is literally the worst book I have ever encountered. It should be banned, not because of controversial language or subject matter, but so it cannot be inflicted on humanity any longer. It is truly a crime that this book is elevated to a position of equality with works like To Kill a Mockingbird.

Ordered one of these for the boss.

First of all, the drive comes with this “virtual CD” firmware that makes a fake CD mount to your computer every time this drive gets plugged in. As far as I know, you can’t disable it, and it’s extremely annoying.

Secondly, apparently the cable connection going into the drive sucks. Not only is it a proprietary connector (not mini-USB), but it apparently disconnects itself because of the poor connection points.

Finally, I actually tried out the backup software, believe it or not. Normally I stay away from the stuff that comes packaged with drives, but thought I’d give it a shot. It sucks. It uses tons of resources, doesn’t back up when the computer’s idle, and does back up when in the middle of working on something – not exactly quite as advertised.

I ordered the predecessor to this model which had much better reviews. As soon as it comes in and I move the data over to it, I’m returning this model.
Western Digital My Passport | fcdthai

I had saved for 2 months to buy this, one, at the unusual price of $350.08 through Amazon, the cheapest place I found, even Best Buy told me they wouldnt match any price from Amazon, and APPLE itself would not budge on its $399 price ….. so the $49.02 savings right there was a good start. Shipping however was an issue since it came from a 3rd party store out of NY (please ensure they will allow you to pick up the package if you arent able to be home to receive it) and took me 2 days to get the stores to talk to UPS and fix the shipping issue so I could go to the local UPS to pick it up.

Besides that, the compatability with Itunes is flawless, it recognized it immediately through my laptop and really only took about an hour the first time to upload 64GB of songs, Videos, Apps, Podcasts and photos. The cool extras of being able to talk into the earphones (surprising sound quality btw) to say Play Artist whatever or Play Songs by Whatever and it understood it is cool, plus the WIFI connection to check emails is awesome and a flawless set up as well, it even plays via bluetooth through my laptop speakers … and videos will now play through my video bar I have attached to my TV …. the only BAD thing I have found, and have contacted APPLE 3 times about, is when I had a 30GB Classic and 8GB NANO before … your playlists were verbatim what it shows in your itunes block … you want your Top 50 to show by Artist, it played that way, by song, it played that way … etc ….. the problem with the I Touch is that for whatever reason, my playlists are there, but by SONG only and seems to be in no particular order and cannot be changed as I could with the Classic and the NANO …. Otherwise, this is a great technological marvel, plays anything and everything … battery life is commendable … plays all day in my car listening to music … plays 6 or 7 hrs watching videos … and recharges quickly. A wide range of aftermarket items from IHome really brings out the best
