I’m really happy with the Forerunner 305. It takes a little getting used to because it is bulkier than my old Polar. However, having pace information is well worth it. I use Minnesota DNR Garmin software to upload and download waypoints (not possible with the Garmin Training Center) which makes it possible to use it while hiking as well.

With some sellers offering the 305 with heart rate monitor for $150, it is really hard to beat this device. Using just the GPS and hrm (no foot pod or cadence/speed sensor) this device works well for both running and cycling outdoors.

I’m not a hardcore athlete, but I do enjoy hiking, trail running, and cycling, and the accuracy of this device more than meets my needs for tracking my pace and performance. The elevation data is pretty off, but garmin-connect does a reasonable job of correcting it after the fact.

Learning to use the features of the 305 takes a little practice. Not something I mind, but some might. The bike mount/wrist strap kit works well for juggling it between arm and bike.

I’ve looked at some of the newer devices in this nitch, and I don’t see how any of them justify their very large price gap over the forerunner 305. In fact, you will pay significantly more for some of the newer devices that do less than the 305.

I looked at the FR 310XT, and it just doesn’t do it for me, and especially not at $380 with hrm. I’m not a triathlete, and I don’t care much about waterproof. I would much rather have something like a multisport/watch version of the Edge 500, which tracks temperature and altitude, and would be much more useful for my trail running, hiking, and cycling. If Garmin ever figures this out, I would likely upgrade.

The base is heavy enough and well balanced so that placing the Garmin on the console is easy and convenient.

This is an AWESOME value. I’m loving it’s cleaning power so far. It is a bit loud, as stated, but that a good trade-off for the price and performance.

How do you start a review about something that changed you? Changed your perspective of life and set you free. I was not introduced to this book by anyone. Well, except for God. The title itself stood out because on that particular day, I was fasting and I felt connected with God, more than I have ever been connected in my life. I was centered and I was at peace. I was directed to this book with no lie. I told God that I wanted to get closer to him and that I wanted to understand him more. I was currently going to a Christian church, though I didnt consider myself a Christian or any religion for that matter. All I knew was that I believed in God and that religion was so limited. So if you are religious, this book is not for you because it is going to knock things your religion may teach.
As soon as I opened up the book, I was attached. I did not want to put the book down! Its like every question I had about life and about God and about all of the mysteries were answered. The only reason why I took the information in was because it felt right. And bottom line thats what matters. If it suits you it is you. All of the questions I had that had to deal with religion and why God is to feared or Why do we have all of these rules were answered. The reason why I was not a Christian was because a big thing they promote is Fear God. But when I was saved, when I was shown the light, when God basically lifted me up, I thought to myself ” Why in the world would I want to fear something so beautiful?” It just didnt suit me. So this book set me free from all of those Christian scriptures. But it opened me up to other religions that held truth. Basically, there is not one right religion, every religion holds truth to it but not 100%. And this is something I thought, so it suited me.
I love this book with all my heart because it lead to me setting myself free. Not caring what people thinks, Its my life it never ends I am a soul before I am this Human. There is no such thing as time on

Before purchasing this item, I did a Google search to find the most economic price. Amazon came up with the best. I couldn’t believe how much cheaper the item was that other places to order. I was a little sceptical that maybe I wasn’t getting a new item. I took a chance and was very pleased with the Garmin vehicle mount. It was in great condition and came just as advertised…very much less expensive than any other place I could have ordered. I will be ordering from Amazon again.

Kindle is the best thing to come along since sliced bread!! We do alot of traveling, both national and international. Since airlines have started charging for luggage, and the weight of those extra books adds up, not to mention charging for extra weight, Kindle has paid for itself. It’s extremely user friendly (not being a technocrat, that was very important to me!) and books are delivered in 60 seconds. It’s like magic! I highly recommend it.

This is a good book about the circus (a comment I never thought I would ever make). Jacob’s story is heartbreakingly sympathetic. Ms. Gruen’s mastery of the circus vocabulary really sets the stage for the plotline. A remarkable amount of reseach went into writing circus lore. This is no Barnum and Bailey’s Greatest Show on Earth. This is a downtrodden, edging ever closer to disaster circus run by the same type of people. I must admit I had to skip anything that resembled animal cruelty (although I am sure it is factual). My inability to deal with this led to my giving the book only 4 stars. A reflection on the reviewer more than on the book.

This product has really impressed me. I am not easily impressed with cleaning products but this one has done it. I read other reviews before purchasing and agree with most of the pros and cons. The steam cleaner is heavy and loud (but quite frankly, they all are). As long you work slowly with this steam cleaner I think you will get acceptable results. It seemed to pull a sandbox of dirt out of my carpets. I am hoping that this product will have a long life in this disposable society that we live in.
