The screen died after 15 months. One year warranty–so pretty convenient for Amazon. Amazon will not fix but requires me to either buy a new Kindle or a refurbished one that only comes with a 90-day warranty. This appears to be a common problem and I have little confidence that it won’t happen with the next device.

Spend your money on books not a product that dies and leaves you with nothing.

Bought this over 2 years ago, was stunned with the price considering hdmi cords cost quite a bit and love it.
Haven’t had any issues with it, works great!!!
Great picture and sound!
Couldn’t ask for any better.

I have only half a cat left thanks to this incredible deshedder! Of the umpteen cats I’ve had all my life, none have been longhairs because they’re just not practical for the rural lifestyle we lead. But my latest rescue kitten grew into a longhaired beauty who requires regular brushing. Nothing I tried was significantly thinning out or shortening his multi-layered coat, and it was heartbreaking to watch him constantly trying to groom himself.

Enter The FURminator. If I could sell cat hair, I’d be rich right now! Bushels of the stuff just kept coming off of him for as long as I kept combing. I could probably completely denude my hairy guy if I wanted to! I can’t thank The FURminator enough for finally enabling my Puff to be as comfortable as a normal cat.

My family travels a lot internationally, so I wanted a scale to weigh the luggages are within airline limits of 50 lb. The product served the purpose and showed the weight very close or same as the airline scale at the check-in. Will look forward to its accuracy as the product ages.

Advantage:
- no on-off switch
- auto-calibration
- shows the final weight for 2-3 sec, so you can step down and still check the value registered (in case you have a big belly)

Note: I didn’t read the box/instructions carefully and ended up buying new batteris for this, but the product comes with 4 AAA size batteries, hidden in the box.

Nice very nice. Works on GPS and smart phones 2. If you hate tickets this is a service you will like. If only I had known about it a while back. A few months ago I got a $200 ticket from a speed camera and I was pissed to say the least. My friend told me about phantom alert and showed me how it works on his garmin. We drove past the spot where I got the ticket and guess what… his GPS went off alerting us to the location even before we could see it. Well it made it clear to me that if I had had phantom on my garmin that day I just might have avoided that $200 ticket. I guess better late than never. Get it before you get a ticket. Learn from me

Pros: Also works on Android phones. downloads were easy. Updates are also easy. Clear tutorial and responsive customer service. Lots of types of POIs red lights, speed cams, rr crossings, schools, DUI spots and of course speed traps.
Cons: need more people to be involved. Need to come out with an app for windows mobile.

I’m unhappy with it. People can not open my attachments unless they have a reader and no one has a reader. Also I lost my spell check with Outlook Express since Office Home and Student 2007 is not compatible with OE. It’s all been very frustrating. 2003 works much better at this point and I no longer have it.

I truly loved this book–as a Canadian immigrant who has lived here for many years but who knows little about the Southern USA and the issues surrounding slavery and its aftermath, I was fascinated to read about the courage and tenacity of these women, each of whom is claiming her right to be herself, despite the social mores of her community. I admired the skill with which the author moves from one voice to another, keeppipng each opne searate and clear. If I were still teaching, I think I would use it in a class on American 20th Century literature. I hope we hear more from this writer.

it’s a cool gadget, no doubt about it.

pros: it’s like reading on paper, no eye fatigue; it’s light weight, wireless is free with access to wikipedia; battery seems to last quite a while, specially if you turn off wireless; you can download your PDFs from a computer via USB cable.

cons: the menu button seems to be sensitive, maybe it’s just mine. the only-click purchase should be optional and not the default, I’d say a security PIN should be considered. it’s not very clear in documentation when you have to pay for the wireless connection.
