I love my new Walkman. I’ve had it about 2 weeks and it’s been great. I can’t say I’m a techie, but I do know how to use electronics and this has been pretty easy. The product works as advertised and is a great price to boot. The battery seems to have a good life and the media player syncs with the Walkman easily and quickly. The only drawback is finding accessories. DLO has a decent case with a clip, but I have found little from Sony at this point.

This is first book of a series. Before purchasing any other books from Neal Walsch, I recomend you read this one.

At first I had the discomfort issues that others have had, but eventually I was able to position them correctly. The sound quality is very, very nice. Way nicer than the bundled earbuds that came with my Samsung YP-T9. And, for the price, it’s even worth it to try them out even though they may feel uncomfortable. It’s not like you’ll be out of a lot of money.

Although the build quality is excellent, when used with my DSC-P200 there is a keyhole effect until the camera is set to around 2x zoom or above. This is a real disappointment as I had hoped for the zoom to be multiplied over the whole range. Despite this it works well at the higher zoom levels, though on reflection I should have bought a digital SLR and kept the P200 for what it is really intended – point and shoot…

I really enjoyed this easy read, it makes me want to read more about the circus during the 1930’s and 40’s. Great characters and descriptions. Enjoy

Probably because of how stupid it is. It’s been years since I read it, but I can sum it up for you. It follows the experiences of a spoiled rotten dumbass rich kid with no drive, no motivation, no goals, no self respect. Why? Because he’s never worked a day in his life and expects the world to feel sorry for him because he has teenage angst. This kid could be considered the orginal emo without the make up. Yeah he shows signs of schitzophreina, but that really doesn’t make him more compelling or pitful. Bottom line, this is the saga of a self centered little bastard incapable of feeling any emotion for anyone save perhaps his little sister. It’s not timeless, the story teaches nothing, but creates a model of an idiot. I’ll say this though, if you are a parent and you’re kid turns out like this kid, you have failed as a parent. Mabye that’s the point of the book, but I doubt it.

The book is overhyped by the hippie crowd because they can relate to the character. As in they’re spoiled rotten rich little idiots who have never worked a day in their life and are looking for hand outs. That’s the description of the main character and the synopisis of the book. This is probably why the book has been banned so much, because it’s an insipid self centered, apathetic mockery of the human experience. A guide to living for the weak minded so called elite masses.

Other reviewers have rightly observed that, although THE HELP is a rollicking good story, it lacks depth, nuance, and a good editing. The characters are, indeed, caricatures. I encourage everyone who has praised this book to take a few minutes to read William Faulkner’s short story “That Evening Sun.” Faulkner says more in a few pages about black domestics than Stockett says in 444. And he says it beautifully.
