I bought this vacuum to be used exclusively in a capeted “unfinished” portion of our basement. The area has utility carpet installed over a cement floor and is subjected to kids and the dog going in and out of the backyard — therefore lots of dog hair, etc! This vac is perfect for this area — it’s extremely powerful and effective at keeping the area clean. I highly recommend it as an economical 2nd vacuum.

I have marveled at this mini wonder for months. Just about used it every single day for 9 months then something terrible happened. I lost it. I was deeply saddened and it was as if someone kicked me in the stomach for the last 2 weeks. Oh how I miss my ipod touch so. I t was sleek beautiful and fast at loading my apps. Being the music lover that I am. I do not feel whole without it. Now I will wait in the wings for the hope that my husband will buy me a 4th generation this Christmas as he broght me the 3rd Generation last year. I fear that the 4th generation will not be as fast, At least that is some of the buzz that I have heard lately. I will wait to find out. But for now I really , really miss my 3rd gen 32GB ipod touch.

It is just the piece of equipment for the job at hand.I have an apartment and a dog and does a great job. It is not to noisy to heavy and the water intake is fabulous, the carpets are almost dry.

I’ve been using Office 2007 for three months now. It is the most user unfriendly program I have ever used. Tasks that were simple in previous versions are now mostly time wasted in trying to find simple commands within these new programs. The ribbons bars take up screen space, confuse the user, and hinder documents creation. The company for which I work went to this version, and the multitude of ensuing problems have been incredible. But we’re stuck with it now, so I’m hoping that I will eventually get used to suh poorly designed features.

This Pedometer is the 3rd or 4th I’ve owned and is easy to operate and read the display. It fits comfortable into my pants pocket or may be carried in my purse to count steps. One negative note is that is doesn’t count steps taken on a “stroll” like with my nearly 80 year old mother.
Advanced Tool Design Model
This is good. It came in black instead of blue, but I guess thats ok.

To all of you enraged Christians who are continuosly guiding us to the Bible:
I mean…if we lived the way Neale Walsch writes we should live, we would all be happy. And we would all be loving.
Even if this goes against your supposed wrathful and vengeful God, isn’t this a preferred way to celebrate our existence? Instead of discarding this book in a fit of rage I encourage you to think a little deeper.
What is wrong with a world completely full of love? I see nothing.
To those of you who haven’t read the book: You need to be ready for it and go into it with complete lack of judgment. It was hard, for me, for instance, to get the idea out of my head that the voice of God was male, but you start to feel your mind expanding. If, however, you’re willing to keep your mind closed to any ideas outside of your own, which I don’t recommend, don’t risk being challenged in your beliefs by reading this. It’s sometimes hard to think that misinterpretation is impossible and that difference is a beautiful thing.

I was not impressed with the book. Yes, it is intriguing and well-written. But the “wisdom” is what I would expect an articulate, well-versed liberal arts professor to say. So much of it is what we want to hear, what we want to believe. I felt like Neale created a God that placates people, tells them what they want to hear, tells of the wisdom of this age. I have read and studied several religious texts, from the Bible, the Koran, the Torah, etc. In my studies I came to know that the Bible holds the truth of God – but this is a realization for all of us to have individually with God. I actually picked up CwG before I came to believe in the Bible – and I put it down after I read it thinking that the book was filled with man’s wisdom. I had a course in college that taught the same thing. I was seeking God’s true wisdom and studied Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, etc.
This book is nothing new, and tells people what they want to hear – not the truth of things. I don’t think God was the one moving Neale’s pen, I believe it was Neale’s own thoughts and wisdom moving his pen.
So, you can choose to listen to God’s truth or Neale’s truth. But this book is clearly full of Neale’s truth. The book takes basic modern-day mysticism tenets and attributes them to God moving Neale’s pen so Neale can enlighten the world.
